Feds spying on innocent Americans just in case we might commit future crimes
Although started in secret, the massive spying powers granted to the National Counterterrorism Center include access to any U.S. government database in order to analyze that stored info for suspicious patterns of behavior or for terrorism indicators. Data on innocent Americans can be collected and stored for five years, just in case you might commit future crimes. All it takes is a notice to be published on the Federal Register and your privacy rights are nonexistent.
