IAPP launches major website update
with new online store
Changes start 23 June and continue over several months
A new IAPP online store featuring streamlined search, checkout and payment options debuts on 23 June, kicking off a top-to-bottom overhaul of the IAPP website.
The existing IAPP store will be offline at 06:00 EDT on 23 June and replaced over the weekend with the new store.
You will see immediate improvements and some existing functionality temporarily limited or disabled. Immediate changes include:
- Simplified checkout.
- Credit cards will be the only form of payment accepted.
- All product descriptions will temporarily be in English only.
- Continuing privacy education credits for book and training product purchases will need to be submitted manually. Automatic CPEs will continue to be applied for the following activities: web conferences, conferences and KnowledgeNets.
- Improved search and filtering functions for locating products.
- KnowledgeNet registrations move from the store to the Connect section of iapp.org.
- Web conference registrations move to the Resources section of iapp.org.
New data processing associated with the store is described in the revised and updated
IAPP Privacy Notice.
Aimed at improving user's experiences everywhere on iapp.org, a series of web projects over the coming months will upgrade the store, news, information, products and resources sections of the site over the coming months. Learn more about web projects on our IAPP Website Upgrade information page.
