Canon EOS Rebel T2i DSLR, $750
Canon's 18-megapixel EOS Rebel T2i is a great entry-level digital SLR camera says our reviewer, who gave it 4 of 5 stars. It offers terrific image and video quality, and even has an audio-in jack so you can add sound to your videos. The only quibble our reviewer had was its relatively high price for an entry-level SLR: $900 at launch for the camera body and a lens. That's no longer an issue, though. J&R has the EOS Rebel T2i on sale for only $750, for a limited time.
