ICYMI: OUR THANKSGIVING SPECIALS
Daily Caller analysis writer Gage Klipper argues why your Thanksgiving menu this year was a perfect metaphor for Joe Biden's America:
"In this way, Thanksgiving dinner becomes the perfect metaphor for Bidenomics. Without giving any other context, the White House and their corporate media allies can technically get away saying 'prices are down.' They can even point to the cheaper turkey, a veritable benchmark for all things Thanksgiving. But dig slightly below the surface, or even just take a closer look at your grocery bill, and the lies, manipulations, and distortions all begin to unravel."
Klipper with another piece on why you should try to pick a fight with your liberal relatives (if you haven't already):
"Over the last several years, a new trend has emerged. Each Thanksgiving prompts a slew of left-wing think pieces dedicated to exploring the dread of spending holidays with conservative family members. The conservative disposition dictates that we put politics aside for the day and come together around our shared gratitude for the things that matter most. But conservatives overlook that there is very little common ground left to stand on. Enough is enough — it's time to put your vegan nephew and your purple-haired niece in their place."
Mary Rooke, host of the Daily Caller's "Trad-ish" podcast, reveals the one thing Biden is doing right that Americans should celebrate:
"In honor of President Abraham Lincoln, who declared the first official national celebration of Thanksgiving during the Civil War in hopes it would bring our fractured country together, Americans should be thankful we live in a Biden presidency.
"Because nothing in the last three years has successfully united the Union under one cause like that of President Joe Biden."
And finally, columnist Scoops Delacroix explains why America needs more drunk MAGA uncles to help melt down our chilly left-wing culture of censorship:
"Uncle Jimbo salts the earth. He does not care what anyone thinks, nor how his hangover will feel Black Friday morning. He lets the Jim Beam flow, and in turn, the First Amendment is stronger for it. There's a reason why liberals hate him just as the Athenians despised Socrates 3,000 years ago: he tells the truth.
"So this Thanksgiving (and every other day of the year), when that uncle of yours is pouring another triple-finger or cracking open his third beer in an hour, let it happen. Let him rise to the occasion. Let him cook. Better yet, encourage him. Laugh loudly when he inevitably cracks an Epstein-Clinton joke. Whisper in his ear: 'I'm unvaxxed ... Trump '24 ... You're my hero.'"
