First Debate Sees Unlikely Winners As Trump Sits Down With Tucker As former President Donald Trump and Tucker talked policy, Jeffrey Epstein, and the ChiCom threat (even mocking Kamala in one hilarious, must-see exchange) eight GOP candidates duked it out on the Fox News debate stage in Milwaukee. This week's debate, moderated by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, focused on the economy, abortion, Trump’s upcoming trials, Ukraine funding and Biden's border fiasco, among other issues. Although Vivek Ramaswamy soaked up much of the spotlight throughout the night, trading barbs with nearly every candidate and taking heavy flak from Chris Christie, former VP Mike Pence and Nikki Haley surprised the crowd with some stand-out moments on abortion and foreign policy. DeSantis remained solid touting his conservative record in Florida, but in one viral moment, the governor could be seen waffling in real time on whether he would support Trump as the nominee if he is a convicted felon. As the night progressed, Baier and MacCallum intervened several times to break up food fights and politely tell the feistier candidates to shut the hell up. |
