The large and growing proportion of sensitive corporate data stored in cloud services and other repositories necessitates a substantially new way of thinking about security. Traditional, perimeter-focused security models that sufficed for an on-premises world simply don't work in a cloud-centric reality, and decision makers must address new and innovative ways of protecting their corporate data that now resides on-premises, on mobile devices, and in the cloud.
